Hi
I registered with Select FE as a Learning Support lecturer. They didn't find me that but got me work at a college in Soho as an ESOL lecturer. It's difficult to go permanent through them but I've worked through Select as an ESOL teacher, worked everywhere and never been out of work in 11 months. There's loads of it around at the moment.
Plus you get paid weekly (around £20 an hour) 
Ask for Robbie Hall, he's the guy that takes on new teachers - tell them I sent you! I get £10 for introducing people they use
