Morgan,
Holborn and Bloomsbury are small districts located in Zone 1 and are very expensive.
You may struggle to find an affordable room and one that also accepts couples for such a short duration.
You will be competing thousands of students enrolled at dozens of language schools in the area and all the University students who are starting their new terms in September who will flood the area scouring for local accommodation.
Search the Accommodation Offered section of the Gumtree with your requirements so you can determine how much double rooms cost for a couple in Holborn and Bloomsbury.
Submit an ad in the Accommodation Wanted section of the Gumtree stipulating your requirements. Search it first and see how popular Bloomsbury, Holborn and central/Zone 1 areas are.
This way you get an idea how few rooms that are actually available in these areas and the high number of people wishing to live there.
If you can't find a suitable room in High Holborn and Bloomsbury, then areas with good transport links in south-east London might do - Bermondsey, New Cross and so on.
The English language school you enrolled in will probably have an accommodation service. Use it - ask them where students usually live that cannot find or afford accommodation in Zone 1 that also has good transport links.
You can check journey times from recommended areas to your language school at the following site
