MM nice words from the tax man although i dont condone cash in hand work perhaps the inland revenue should practice what you preach! i was owed money from them and even though they were well aware of it they made me wait over 10 months till the end of the tax year to repay me. Quick enough to take it off me though and yes a legitimate tax payer! |

I dunno but pehaps he should find out next time he goes to a hospital, or sends his (no doubt numerous) kids to school or gets his rubbish cleared..
Not all taxes go into paying politicians and local pen pushers, just more than they should.
I vote for a 20% flat tax rate, after they've nobbled all the UK sponosred offshore tax havens of course, which is most of them.
Eat the rich (as in bankers).

1. Taxes pay towards the benefits you receive and the medical care you had when you went through your pregnancy.
2. Working without declaring it while collecting benefits is illegal and sets a poor example to your son.
3. Getting a criminal record will probably affect your future employment prospects. It's not worth the risk.
4. Where is the father of your baby in all of this?
Make sure you go to an advice agency to find out whether you are receiving your full entitlement of benefits and that the father is contributing.
Browse websites that offer advice about frugal living and how to plan and monitor a person budget. It's utterly amazing about the tips and tricks they offer to keep costs as low as possible and how to take back control of your income, even a low income. |

Or maybe the father of the child could just have kept it in his trousers?
Fact is, the majority of single parents are women becase they are the ones who do the decent thing and stay to raise the child and shoulder the responsibility. |
