How to get CSCS card/qualification? how much it costs/what is this exactly ? what for is that?
Im EU citizen in London.

| Construction Skills Certification Scheme. It is a photo identity card for access on to Construction sites in the UK. On the reverse it will have your trade qualifications. To have an up to date card you will need to complete a Health and Safety awareness exam that costs about £30.00. Then you can apply for the card if you have paper Qualifications. If not you can complete courses on site where you will be assessed for your chosen trade, however these vary in price and can be very expensive. Hope this helps |

Hi a CSCS CARD is very essential if you are a construction worker or looking to get in the construction industry as this is your health and safety it insures you and your employer.
depending on what card you are applying for as in level blue card green black gold it all goes in level experienced workers card managerial cards ,supervisor cards or just a simple operatives card which is the basic health and safety and its enough to allow you on site but if you wanted to go for a higher card you need to either have an NVQ or be on an NVQ or just apply for one they are all work based so it wouldn't disrupt your life and you wouldnt have to sit in a class room.

give me info reguarding how to get a CSCS card. I have 15 years experience in the construction trade but only recently come over from Gibraltar where CSCS are not needed. Help.

Hi sorry for late reply but yes for you to be able to do any of the CSCS Tests you will need your National Insurance Number.
