Hi,
my house has been sold and "the chain" is pushing for a June moving date .... however my new property will not be ready until the end of July. I've been looking at rented accommodation but the main agencies do not seem interested in short term (around 6 weeks) lets.
Any advice or ideas on what to do for this period? I'll even consider a caravan!! |

I did not personnally use it but a friend recommended me this site: http://www.accommodationlondon.net/
They provide housing solutions from 1 night to 6 months, so you could stay there 6 weeks until your new property is ready.
You can also have a look at the short let section of Gumtree; some people leave their flat during the summer holidays, so you could find a cheaper place.
Depending if you have a lot of stuff or not, you can stay at a youth hostel, instead of a caravan!!
Hope that helps. |

Hello it's only me,
Yes that's right I've got my nose poked in everywhere and if I don't make you laugh I'll bloody well annoy you. Let's see.
Sold your house, fine. Now you're looking for somewhere to get your head down for a short period.
Right, just phoned my friend at the cardboard recycling centre he says he can kit you out with couple of large cartons that formerly housed washing machines and for no extra he will throw in some bubblewrap to keep out the rain.
All you need to do is let him know which of the pavement you like and Bob's your uncle.....I mean he's my uncle |

I need a room in Dublin since June 29 for me and my wife. We are from Poland.
