That is like a member of my family. She had her kids took off her because of her violent partner, she was given a choice, him or her kids. Can you believe she picked him! Absolutely fucking disgusting. Unfortunately she got the kids back, after parenting courses and living for 4 months in a social services based home. I say unfortunately for the kids sake. She is still with the same partner, and has gone on to have more kids. Really gets me mad as the kids are looking up to them as role models, and what do they see? The boys see a dad/stepdad who knocks their mom about, so they think its acceptable, and the daughters see their mom being treated like a doormat and they think it's acceptable. I know some will say to me 'you dont know what it's like being in that position blah blah' but thats crap, if my partner ever raised his hand to my son i'd do whatever necessary to protect him. Kids don't deserve to be raised in a shitty environment. These sort of people should be steralised. |
