Recent studies have shown more people are living alone - and choosing a single life over a married life - why do you think this is?
I'm writing an article on this for my journalism postgrad degree so anyone's opinions would be much appreciated!
Are there any women out there who are living alone by choice? Why?
What do you think of the institution of marriage? Do you think it's outdated?
Would you ever consider living alone?
Are women less willing to settle for second best than in the past?
Or are expectations of men too high?
How do you think TV.film has influenced the situation?
What do you think society's attitude is towards women who choose to remain single?

1. The nice men are ugly.
2. The handsome men are not nice.
3. The handsome and nice men are gay.
4. The handsome, nice, and heterosexual men are married.
5. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men, have no money.
6. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men with money think
we are only after their money.
7. The handsome men without money are after our money.
8. The handsome men, who are not so nice and somewhat heterosexual,
don't think we are beautiful enough.
9. The men who think we are beautiful, that are heterosexual, somewhat
nice and have no money, are cowards.
10. The men who are somewhat handsome, somewhat nice and have money and thank God are straight, are shy and NEVER MAKE THE FIRST
MOVE!!!
11. The men who never make the first move, automatically lose interest
in us when we take the initiative. |

I consider myself belonging to group 5 though, hehe

If by choice then because they hate all men or are too ugly for anyone.

Why getting married ? ... For the financial advantage ? For the parents ? In the name of the Lord ? For a piece of paper ? For the partner to have the reassurance ? You can choose or mix as you like.

Interesting point, I have the feeling that the vision how the dream man has to be is overrated but that doesn't hinder women to set high demands while offering only very low value.
I can smell trouble coming up for this statement

Negative I think. The film industry tries it hardest to make everyone believe superficiality is the target to go for. Fake personalities and selection by looks is the outcome. The deteoration of the language is another one.

Girls commit themselves at one point, get pregnant, get seperated, maybe try again and fail again. The society judges bad about these women. Regardless if they have children or not, if they live without a partner they,re marked as either a slut, dumb or wired.
Not like if a man lives alone. |
