hi there we are a none working family with hidden disabilities for this reason i can not work as im a 24/7 carer and have to take care of my family around the clock now we are currently tenants of a place that's costing us an arm and leg to stay here and we are also on housing list but due to our situation they cant find a place big enough and able to meet our disabled requirements we realy do need to find a new place to rent but soon as we mention that dreaded word dss we get door shut on us and then treated as if we are nothing if i could work i would but by the time i payed for carer to do my job at home i wouldn't have enough to even buy my kids bread to eat (Lol) when i spoke to housing benefit they said i don't need to tell my landlord. but what about agency what do i say to them to get round this mess! there's a load of nice places but soon as i say dss they don't want to know people like us should put a petition up!
