Hi peeps,
I'll be starting my first graduate job in May and will need to be looking for accomodation. Ideally, I'll be looking for a 1 bedroom flat within 1/2 hour walking distance from work. The company is situated east of the city centre near the train station. I've heard rental in Norwich is generally cheaper so I'm hoping for something under £350pm.
What are the nice but affordable places in Norwich? I've heard the 'Golden triangle' is a popular place. Some people have said that east of the city centre (train station area) is not good because of the chavs (and according to one, "ladies of negotiable affections" along Rosary Rd). I've also heard mixed reviews of the 'Silver Triangle' in Magdalen St. I'll probably have to come down and stay for a week or so in a B&B since I live in Glasgow so a day trip may not be that feasible.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this |
