Hi all. Can someone tell me I'm wrong please!!!

Am new to Kleeneze and have been retailing cat's for a few weeks now. Making a loss at the moment as Im not in the best of areas (central birmingham). My first drop was in a block of flats. I dropped 250 on the advise of my sponser, got 12 back, several dozen f-off's and a black eye! I gave up then and now traveling to other ares which is costing me.

Anyway I'm sticking with it for the time being and my sponsor is keen for me to get a team going so I was reading the agreement I made and now Im worried about the bad debt clause in 6.7 of the agreement. This says "Kleeneze reserves the right to recover payments which arise as a result of the actions relating to your downline distributors who are terminated as a result of bad debts where this is caused by the failure of the Upline to show appropriate care".

Terminating downline distributors sounds a bit harsh Wink but the way I read this, if I had a distributor in my team order £500 worth of goods and not pay Kleeneze, as their sponsor I would be liable for the debt! I know there's credit limits but this is set by Kleeneze and it seems to me they can set any limit they want without the chance of losing money if someone doesn't pay.

As far as I can see there is no actual legal or financial connection between each distributor's business so I don't understand why one distributor should be liable for another's debt? The distributor agreement I signed is with Kleeneze not my sponsor. The (few) orders I place are directly with Kleeneze as would any distributor in my team, so where is the sponser involved in the sale?

I used to work in the call centre for Studio which is part of the same company that own kleeneze and they were ruthless in getting there money sneding baliffs round at the drop of a hat for nothing more than pennies sometimes. Could this happen with kleeneze?

I hope Ive got this completely wrong but can anyone put my mind at rest please?

Hello

STAY WELL CLEAR ... !!!!!!

A lodger of mine thought that he would have a go at this. (I'm not too sure if it was Kleeneze or Betterware)
He got 1000 of their catalogues and went out and put them in peoples letter boxes.
He took orders totalling £120.
Out of the 1000 catalogues he put out he only got about 400 back.
He was charged 70p each for the ones he did not get back (approx £400)

As I can see it the only people to make money are the companys and NOT the distributors. As if you don't sell anything THEY will still make money by charging YOU for the catalogues you lose !!!!!!

REPEAT ..... STAY WELL CLEAR ... !!!!!!

Hi, I work for a large MLM company and I also work as an independant for another company. Firstly any business that makes you pay for stock and then pay for lost stock should be avoided.

Although this does obviously work for some people it's hard work and not for everyone.

If you want some more advice or to have a chat about working in MLM please drop me a line and we can have a chat about it. My email is tonejarvis@gmail.com

Hi Honest John

You could be right , but he was working for one of them or one that has a similar MO .

In the catalogue they offered everything, Makeup / Cleaning products / House hold goods / Small Toys / Christmas Decorations / ETC ETC.
I have to say that the catalogue was very well printed and looked very professional.

On the £120 or so that he did sell he never saw a penny as his cut was deducted against the lost catalogues.
As for the lost catalogue money ...... He has since got another 100 or so back but they are refusing to give him credit for them as they say they are 'Last seasons' !!!

Like I have said ..... 'STAY WELL CLEAR'

Hi Colin

Yes thats Kleeneze - help him out & tell him to stear well clear of them.

Sounds also like that his upline has sold him their books as I think that he normally would have bought books direct from KZ - Sound very suspect Idea to me & I'm so so so sorry he's got involveld with what it sounds like another scumbag, in my opinion Wink

If its that type of work hes after tell the lodger to try Betterware - FREE OF CHARGE = nothing to lose except his free time!!!!

Thanks for the reply Honest John and no, I'm not worried and I didn't think I'd be driving a Ferrari next week!

Living in Birmingham gives me access to a lot of potential customers so I signed up to do retailing only. The agreement in this respect is fine and as it will automatically expire at the end of the year anyway, I was happy to sign it.

To put things in context, I'm making money albeit not as much as I could be coz I'm traveling out to better areas which ups my overheads. But I'm making enough to make it worthwhile and I can drop it any time I choose.

I'm not bothered about team building but my sponsor was keen to get me on this, so, I was going through the agreement with him (in more and more detail the more annoyed he got Wink !) and when I questioned him on the bad debt clause he was clueless. He did get his sponsor on the phone to answer my questions but he was just full of crap.

So no, I won't be team building but by posting here I was trying to see if anyone can confirm my thoughts or dispute them if I have in fact misinterpreted the agreement.

So come on folks, rather than just slating kleeneze, has anyone got any real views on my specific question?

Hi all,
against all sorts of advice,i have signed to kleeneze, the kit is inbound.
i wont be building a team,i wont be going to any fXckin' meetings either. If i make any cash, then good for me,if i dont then they can ram it,but i will stick at it,see how it goes.
There is one thing i will guarantee though,if someone attempts to give me a black eye they in return will get some instant retribution!!!

Hi swingfog, sorry i didnt make myself very clear about the eye which was nothing to do with the kleeneze work apart from it ahppening when I was collecting cat's. I run doors and was recognised by a couple of herberts who fancied a go. The one who gave me the eye got away, the other didn't but before anyone jumps to conclusions, I made a citizens arrest and got them both dealt with by the police. Far more satisfying Laughing

Cheers.
