Hi,

I have been a victim of a lap top scam which was offered on Gumtree. E-mail communication with the seller was very professional which helped me trust the seller. The seller also accepted payment via paypal.

Now its been over 2 weeks and no laptop. I would like everyone thinking twice before trusting sellers on gumtree even if the seller agrees to use paypal.

Now I am busy trying to get my money back using paypal's help and my credit card company.

Always meet people, when I have bought or sold stuff, I have always met the person. It cost soem money, but I woudl rather be happy, its a karma thing, also I got scammed on ebay once for 700 pounds. Which still smarts me.
