i'm off to the world cup this summer, I'm gonna be camping but am struggling to find campsites near to the England games, either they are boked up or the websites are in German. Anyone got any ideas where to stay, if its not close then i'll be happy as long as its close to other england/footy fans.

hi mate,
i'm planning on doing the same as you, and cant find campsites either. My plan now is to just turn up and find places to pitch a tent when we get there! Bit dodgy but i'm sure there'll be random fields etc to pitch up in and will be more of an adventure! Can always just kip in car if worst comes to worst!

| it has been almost a couple of months now that I have been viewing the Soccer Feeds on my desktop and ever since I was exposed to this I never wanted to switch back to the old ways of TV viewing and one simple reason for this is the picture quality on offer on these feeds, and I only hope that the services remain the same or become more better in the days to come. |

| Me and 7 mates are also planning to do the same. Every campsite around Cologne is booked up (I even tried asking in German!). Think we're just gonna turn up - There must be plenty of farmers over there who'll let us put up some tents in his field for a week for a few euros! Keep us posted if anyone finds any new campsites - the german Tourist board was talking about opening temporary ones if demand was great enough. |
