Sport Connected is offering you a chance to win a treasure-trove of sports equipment for your local children's group.

Sport Connected believes participation in sport has many different benefits for children and would like to give some lucky group the gear to get them started.

To enter all you have to do is:

1. Provide a little background information on the group and tell us why you think the group should get the equipment.
2. Tell us in less than 100 words why you think children should participate in sport?

Competition Guidelines

• Whichever children's group or club you nominate it must be based within Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian or West Lothian.
• Anybody can nominate a group and enter the competition; parents, teachers, group leaders, helpers etc.
• Groups can include Primary Schools, Out-of-school Clubs, Kids Clubs, Church Groups, Cubs, Brownies, Boy's Brigade groups etc
• If in any doubt, enter anyway.
• Send your answer along with your nominated group's background information to sportsgiveaway@sportconnected.co.uk
• Closing date for entries is 24/06/07
• Winner will be published the Sport Connected website on 26/06/07
