Hello all - new to the place (username is a slight giveaway, true) - just wanted to warn everyone that I have had a very bad experience moving down here due to....let's just say an agency who are based in KempTown and who feature a cheery cartoon of a house...(not wanting to get this site into trouble on my first post!).

Unprofessional, unwilling to take responsibility for a flat absolutely not up to acceptable standards (none of the issues raised when I viewed it had been addressed, they were entirely aware of this the day before yet did not ring me to let me know....just let me have the rather unpleasant surprise when I opened the door!), and that is in fact even unsafe - no locks on external doors, missing fire doors, no hot water etc.

Sorry...extremely frustrated and didn't know where else to rant!

I found myself in a similar situation. The flat was dirty and they promised to clean it but they refsued entirely. That months rent went to the drain and they are still keeping my deposit
keep me posted how yours will go
