Motex Oko Disposable Nappies
I am a fairly new convert to eco nappies. Although as a family we have been eating organic produce for the last six years and using natural skin care on our three boys, I am ashamed to say that I always doubted bio-degradable nappies. I realise now what a fool I’ve been when I tried these nappies out for the first time recently. They are quite simply brilliant and it is now a huge regret that I didn’t discover them sooner. So here are my reasons for recommending this product:
Pros:
- They fit really nicely and are available in five sizes, mini to xl
- To date no leakage!
- No bleach on baby’s skin
- The nappies are produced in an eco-friendly way
- The packaging is biodegradable
- Apparently the waterproof coating can be partially recycled and the absorbant gel is kept to an absolute minimum
- Affordable and are price wise only a few pence more than the leading brands. As a guideline: Size 5, Pack of 36, £8.75, and you can also buy in Jumbo Size Packs of 72 at £17.50
Cons:
- The colour isn’t great, a bit grey, but hey who cares, small price to pay for a toxin free baby’s bottom!
These nappies are available from ethicalsuperstore.com, but if you shop via http://www.moreeco.com you can earn an addition 4% cashback in points and free carbon offset
