Hi all - unfortunately I found out too late that this woman was bad news and she's a bit richer for contacting me, however I do not want anyone to fall into her trap.
She found me using www.share-accommodation.net
She's using the name Alexandra Martine or Tracey/Aude Martine using www.alexroom@yahoo.com
88 Flask Walk
Hampstead
London
NW3 1HG
I don't think that there is anything else I can add, I just hope no one else is ripped off because of her!
ps - she's still using the same number! |

They sent me a copy of a passport in the name of 'Kerry Bullock,' so if anyone sent the same scammer a copy of their passport, just to let them know they are using it!! Also to be aware of that name... |
I receive a email rom the same name today.
This is the text:
Hello,
Thanks for the interest in my one bedroom flat. How are you? I am cool over here. My name is Kerry. I am a professional with a Masters Degree in Public Policy. I would describe myself as outgoing, broad interests, very tidy, sociable and an extrovert. I enjoy travelling, outdoors, horse riding, poetry, singing, dancing, occassional pub-crawling, good food, drinking a good glass of wine or tea with friends and when I am indoor, I also enjoy
playing chess or scrabble if I am not reading a magazine.
I am presently in Newcastle for a seminar which will last for sometimes and I have been very busy so I will have to tell you all that I feel you need to know about the flat but note that I am renting out the whole flat to you...
The flat:
The flat is a one bedroom flat with garden. The bedroom is a beautiful, big standard room which is very neat as you can see in the pictures, i do not tolerate dirtiness and this is why you will see the flat so neat and it has the following:
*A big standard bed which can sleep two people.
*A television connected to the cable in the living room and
also in the bedroom.
*A refridgerator in the kitchen.
*A private bathroom with toilet.
*A wardrobe/drawer unit.
*A big living room fully furnished with a television connected
to the cable, a sound system, heater and airconditioner.
*Internet facilities available which you can connect your laptop to...
Although I have one in the flat which you can use it if you do not have one...
*A fully furnished kitchen.
*A washing machine.
*Garage which the building has on its own.
*Tube station is about 5-7 mins walk from the flat.
*Close to hospital and shopping mall.(walking distance)
*The security in the neighbourhood is high.
The payment:
Rent is £500 per month (subject to negotiation to an extent) plus approximately £100 for utilities, cable, internet service. The average utilities comes to about £60 per month, cable is about £20 per month and the internet is about £20 per month which brings everything to a total of approximately £100 per month and bringing the total rent per month to £600 per month.
However, I collect £700 refundable security deposit which will be given back to you if unutilized, the purpose of the security deposit is to secure the flat for you and also incase of any damages done by you in the flat, it will be used to do the repairs, otherwise it will be returned to you when leaving. I collect this security deposit with one months rent in advance before move in, the security deposit can be used to pay for your last months rent if unutilized.
The reason why I am renting out the flat is because I will be spending sometimes here after the seminar as I have just gotten another job on a contract basis here so I should be here for about two years and I really need someone to be taking care of the flat. Moreso, I do not want some unserious people to start wasting my time on this rent and
this is the reason why I am collecting the payment in advance so that I can see the finanacial commitment. Let me know if you would love to come and view the flat and have a look at what you are renting but the problem is that a lot of people have wasted my time on this rent issue and i really want someone very serious to deal with this time around. Several people have asked me to come down to London to show them the flat only to get me disappointed
eventually.
I have attached the pictures of the flat with this mail to you so that you can see how the flat looks like and also I attach my proof of identification to avoid any doubt over security. I sincerely want someone very serious and sincerely willing to rent the flat because a lot of people have wasted my time on this.
-But are you really serious about the renting the flat?
-If you love the flat when you see it, will you make the payment to hold it for you against your move in if i come down to show you the flat?
Please understand that i am NOT asking you to pay for what you have not seen because i know that payment is to be made AFTER viewing and okay with what you are paying for. But people have told me that they will pay upon us meeting if they are satisfied with the flat but ended up being disappointed.
Moreover,if you are going to make payment for the flat when we meet, I will prepare all the neccesary documentations like the Rental Receipt showing the amount paid and also the Rental Agreement Form
which we will both sign after being satisfied with the flat.
I am also talking to a colleague of mine here as regards idea on what we can do to avoid being disappointed this time around. I will get back to you as soon as possible so that we can arrange a meeting and the viewing of the flat. Thanks while i will be waiting read from you. |

| I was duped and lost some money from an ad on Craigslist for a room from Alexandra (Chloe) Martine - I was told to send the money via Western Union to her mother Aude Martine in London. The room to let was in Paris in the 10th Arron. I let Craigslist know, but they weren't too helpful. Alenadra Martine's ID said she was from Cannes, but that is probably fake. I sent some moeny for a deposit and first months rent - she asked for 2 more months rent and when I said no, she fell off the radar. I'm pissed and feel really stupid, but hopefully these postings help someone else. |

Because, armed with the transfer number, they can collect anywhere in the world. |

| In respond to nosferatt's post, I almost fell for this trap too. I was too close in making the transfer to Western Union regarding "Mrs Tagliavini Mascha " when I felt a little suspicious about this issue, and then I googled it. I ended up reading this forum thread ,which proved that this is a confident fraud trick. The email scheme these mafia-guys send to people like us, is exactly the same, the words and phrases are exactly the same, their questions etc. Thanks so much guys. |
