LOL only a Brit that will come up with something like this!
In today's local newspaper they write about a guy called Stefan Gates. He is a BBC TV presenter of the 'Cooking in the Danger Zone series'. He was here in Cape Town for the Good Food and Wine Show.
He demonstrated his 'bum sandwich' for the audience. It is a small cheese and pesto sandwich wrapped in plastic and then you sit on it for about 40 minutes till it's mushy, flat and warm.
Bloody hell, I won't eat anything that's been warmed up by someone's bum!
The cheese and pesto sounds nice though.
He also enjoyed a local delicacy (spelling?) called a 'smiley'. Guess what that is?................a boiled and baked sheep's head on your plate! He said the best tasting bit on that were the eyes (without the retinas).
I don't think I can eat something that's staring back at me from the plate with a smile on its dial.
Bet you all would prefer the bum sandwich hey? |
