Im new on here, i've always betted in my local bookies, but moving abroad to Greece soon and wanted to find a good online bookmaker. My colleague at work suggested using sites that compare odds at different bookmakers, but i was wondering if it is better just to stay with one bookmaker, surely they give benefits for regular punters??? He says he uses http://www.search4bets.com/ but he's not really a good mate and i dont know if i trust what he is saying.
Looking for some advice, please????

Nah, its shit, he's a real bad mate trying to make a mug out of you which i dont think would be difficult. |

there are some very iffy online bookmakers out there
some are downright fraudalent, others have extremely poor customer service and are forever closing down/restricting winning accounts
and example of the latter is bwin.com (sponsors of Real Madrid) they are happy to take your money but if you ever have a big win, they try every trick in the book to delay/withold payment. When they do eventually pay out they will then close your account. In short, they only want to do business with mug punters who consistently lose
for a bookmaker paddypower.com is one of the best imo. Their customer service is second to none and they are always giving out special odds and bonus' and money back offers etc. The only poor thing about Paddy Power is that they don't like taking a big bet
i myself usually bet with betfair.com. Their customer service sucks but when it comes to value, betfair is hard to beat imo
because it's an exchange the odds available on betfair are nearly always better than traditional bookies even when taking the commission into account
and because betfair make their profit on commission there is never any issue over slow payment/closing or restricting winning accounts |

| i actually had a go at the http://www.freetravelmoney.co.uk/ concept of matched betting and made about 150pounds this weekend. i found skybet and coral sports were the better companies as they posted their odds well before the events started |
