|
|
| I am starting a new job on 24 pounds per hour for a 6 month contract which may be renewed at the end of the term. I have been advised that setting up a limited company is the most tax effective solution for payment. Can anyone offer any advice on this? What is the best way to start, set it up myself or go to an accountant? Any idea of associated costs? Any advice would be much appreciated!! |

shop around for your company.
Ltd companys as they were have been banned.
orange something or other sounded good, i think the last one i used was called crestpay.
i'd recommend going paye tho.
especially if you are gonna stay contracting after this job, i'm gonna have a nightmare to sort my tax out!
for a quid or so an hour, its much easzier to be paye. |

... PAYE means more tax paid but better benefits as u`ll be employed and have full rights against unfair dismissal and so on ...
... Ltd. company means u`ll be a subcontractor and director of your company ... u dont really need an accountant( get Sage software ) ... ur wages will be paid monthly for your co bank account to your personal account . TIP: try not to get all the money at once , leave some for company profit -it`ll help at annual return.
google for Duport Associates ... best service around

they set me up in 24 hours and can pay gross depending on your situation and status - very helpful to explain the payment process and requiements
best contact is 0870 609 3523 or info@dpsconsultingservices.com |
