| Interesting experiment, placed 2 identical ads on the dating pages, one stated i was a doctor the other my real job. Anyway 48hrs later the doctor ad had 22 replies while the 'real job' ad only had 2 replies. So come on, what does this tell us about the majority of girls? so if you hear the bullshit it has nothing to do with money, their lying little toads!! |

Hmmm... doctors REALLY don't appeal to me as a nurse... most are stuck up arsewipes who have a god complex...
I suppose it shouldn't matter, but for some sad reason it does to some. I would like to think it wasn't because of the money potential instead the education/intelligence, but I know how shallow some can be.
Out of interest, what was the real job? |

Another way to look at it is, its just a fact of life that people highly education are usually attracted to people of similar education and background. The same can be said of certain professions in relation to what the earnings may be.
Could it be that there is just a high number of single professional occupation types around, more so than us blue collar working class types?
Or do you think many people are using the equation Doctor = Money ?
Is an interesting little experiment |

| true true. but i do believe the job status has some influence, the reverse is the same i know many doctors who are married to either drs, research drs or high ranking officials. funny that but i was at a 'social function' last night and i was 1 of 2 staff nurses there, 1 of the drs brought along her husband(he was a builder) and a few of the docs were surprised at her husband and his job status it was almost like 'what is she doing with him' kinda attitude. |

Me too...
I wouldn't be too keen to date a doctor as I have worked with some arrogant twats in my time..
But a certain level of intelligence and implied education may have been what did it... |
