Hello,
I actually like the new design, but after spending ages posting 6 new ads and uploading photos, when they still weren't up today I went to check the numbers. 
Each and every one says that they have been deleted.  Can anyone tell me why?
They were all individual adverts for the various trips we run across Africa. Before when this used to happen you had a message come through stating what the problem was.
I haven't changed the format of the adverts and would love to know what has suddenly changed as I have read through the terms and conditions and can't see that I have done anything too unholy!

I wont' be using this site ever again, as gumtree has ripped me off by taking my money time and time again and deleted all my post. I read about all sort of scam from others, and now gumtree got their own scam happening.
I will be warning everyone I know not to post or pay a penny to gumtree site to advertise thank you.  |

| OK... why does every application I come across... facebook... gumtree etc seem to neglect my town? Pls... can you put a 'zone' in for Northampton? the nearest town is leicester and thats in a completely different county! so hard looking up well anything as 99% of the stuff is 30-40 miles away?? Cheers! |

In general it looks nice, love the maps on the ads but there are quite a few things that could be better compared to how thigns were b4...
@Site seems to be slower
@Logo moves between home page and other pages
@There is loads of dead space at the top of the pages
@90% of logo no longer clickable to return to homepage (firefox)
@The sposored ads matching my keywords appear bold but the gumtree ads don't - weird and ugly experience eg http://www.gumtree.com/london/north-london-one-bedroom-flat_3_1.html
@The next and 1/2/3/4/5 pages links are tiny and almost impossible to find below the enormous ads at the bottom of the page - which are almost impossible to spot vs real gumtree ads
@Share doesn't work any more, it means email - what happened to facebook etc
@popular Searches pages look weird, lots of dead space floating about down the left
@really weird contrast on the ad pages, white background, then enormous square green bars for contact details - yuk.
@What's with the weird links like Gumtree USA and Kijijijijiji US classifieds?
@What's with the constant ads for posting a job ad? I ain't an employer, so stop hassling me to place a job ad. |

| hi im very upset about a guy that said he had 2 monkeys 4 sale but when my cuzin call him he said he wants 2 see her house 1st so he said he was comeing with the monkeys 2 her house when he come 2 loot at her house he said it was not good enuf 4 them she said ok thats fine then but he said you made me come all this way 4 nothing i want 180 pound 4 dlivery then we new that ther was know monkeys 4 sale so i said show me the monkeys then he said know and jupt in hes van and tolk my cuzins mony he said hes from ilond wachout [/img][/list] |

| Hi, i just wanted to let you know that i really don't like the new layout. It's nowhere near as user friendly and attractive to look at as it was before. On the accomodation pages there is no camera icon to show you which postings have pictures. I'm sure part of what makes Gumtree so popular is its characteristic image and the way it is so easy to use, so changing the image and layout will do you no favours. Even the font used is different, its hardly recognisable as Gumtree. Disappointing to say the least. |

| It would be good if the city list could be expanded. For instance, the University city of Canterbury (in Kent) which can boast 6 universities/colleges isn't listed. Any foreign visitors seeking accommodation may be a bit puzzled when Canterbury doesnt come up in your listing and may not know to look in the "Kent" section. Kent is an enormous county and the gateway to Europe. |

looks a bit of a state to be honest. In firefox the index is screwed up, the fonts are too big and when you go to an item section to look at ads, the font goes to default (Times New Roman) and ytou cant tell what prices match what ad easily.
I also used to browse your site with Opera browser on my Nokia 770 tablet, looks pretty screwed up on this too.

Hi,
Sounds like the site is not displaying correctly for you - we don't (intentionally) use Times New Roman anywhere. Please can you try clearing your browser cache and seeing if the problem resolves itself? If not, please let me know exactly what version of Firefox and operating system you are using. |

| I've been trying to post an ad but its not fully going through. I'm getting the comfermation e-mail to my e-mail address but its not coming up on the gumtree system. Can anyone help or does anyone know why this is happening? |

Bad use of space, with nothing much at the top.
When you search for something, you want the results/ads to appear right there in front of you so you can see them and they are clickable .. not have to then scroll down to get them.

I agree. When searching for flatshares by map, the map only takes up the bottom quarter of the page and you have to move the map around to orientate yourself. It's incredibly frustrating because the map doesn't work very well to begin with, and yet there's all this space up the top with nothing on it which could be used to make searching easier.
Also, when clicking on flatshares on the map, you can only click on two 'trees' to get information about them before the page scripting seizes up and you have to reload the page to click on the 'trees' again. And so you lose your place! Ridiculous!! |
