Is it just me or is the centre of Manchester a bit of an anti-climax? I actually got to know all of it within hardly any time, it's really small compared to the size of the whole of Manchester. Manchester generally seems to be rough and lack green space. I prefer Sheffield actually.
No offence meant. |

Depends what it is you're looking for really. The city centre isn't physically huge but there's enough going on within it. If you try all the bars/pubs/restaurants one by one, you'd be there an awful long time. If you just want large, stick with the smoke.
I'm going to have to visit Sheffield shortly, just to see for myself if it really is the dump that people have lead me to believe.
No offence meant, you understand! |

| None taken. Maybe I went too far in my OP. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed spending time in Manchester. But all the stories about it I hear are that people want to get out, or that there is much problems there. It just seems like the costs outweigh the benefits. |
