Hi All,
I have got a new job, so am making the big move from North to South London. I'm hoping to buy somewhere and have been thinking about Crystal Palace and Gipsy Hill- would be interested to hear people's experiences of these areas-
How about safety?
Restaurants/ cafes?
Transport into town?
Any other anecdotes etc. much appreciated!
Cheers. |

I train at Crystal Palace's Sports center, so go down there quite a bit. The area is residential and quiet. You have trains connecting to London Bridge and Victoria, and it takes about 20 to 35 mins (depending which route you take). There are a few buses going to London Zone 1, but I have never taken them.
I like the area, it is green and (seems to be) chav-free.
That is all I can say. |
