| Personally I would never send someone money on the promise that they were going to post me something. To me it screams scam. |

sounds like it could be legitimate. if the seller is not a business (ie won't take cc) and wont use paypal then your options are limited. its not that uncommon, and if its to a uk bank a/c and it does go pear-shaped you may have some recourse.
having said that be very careful buying tickets on the internet... |

If he's posting u the item and asking for ur money online, take his phone no. and test if it's right by talking him on the phone
If the phone no. he gave is correct, then there's no problem in paying money online |
