Please help me...................
I live in South London and ned to learn to drive but can't afford the lessons that are offered by all the company's.
If there is anyone out there that would be willing to teach me and maybe my partner we would be so grateful.
We can afford to pay up to £15 a hour, I want to learn manual and my parter wants to learn automatic.
We are both English born and bred lol
I have some driving experience and am a very quick learner as been told by previous instructors (many years ago). My partner has no experience.
Any help would be very appreciated. |

No, most of my friends don't drive and the ones that do haven't been driving long enough
There are schools near me and they charge £22 upwards
But when you have 5 kids to provide for I would prefer to try and do it this way then go with a school for a few lessons then go for the test lol |

I'm an instructor in Scotland so i'm afraid i can't help you directly however, have you checked around ALL the Driving Schools/instructors in your area? You will find that they don't ALL charge the same rates. You may find some solo operators who charge a bit less. Don't be fooled into thinking that an instructor who charges less is struggling. The drivers who work for the big schools are Franchised which means that they are paying anything up to £15,000 per year back to the school. Thats why the lesson prices are higher..to subsidise the Franchise payments. Solo operators don't have that problem. Look around for Ads in newspapers, try YELL.com and ask as many people as you can to see who taught them. Some instructors charge special rates for students, low income families etc
Delve a bit deeper and you'll find someone.
Good luck!! |
