Suggest a new Gumtree city!

Give up on gumtree.com and use any other medium available if you want a worthwhile advert!

Can Cheshire not have its own listing? We always get lumped with Liverpool or Manchester, and neither are that close to many areas of Cheshire.

I live in shrewsbury shropshire and would be interested to know why there isnt a section for us? The nearest city for me to select would be stoke or birmingham and they are over 40 miles away. I was looking for a house to rent and there is nothing that covers my area.

ShrewsburyBecuase it is cultured, pretty and has lots of lovely shops and businesses the people are friendly and there are lots of young families here in rural areas who have to travel miles to get anywhere and to stay in touch with people.

How about Llandudno or Bangor, the nearest you have is liverpool and thats an hour and half away, these are the 2 main big towns in the north wales area, Llandudno is the most well known town, where as Bangor is the city, or even if you want to do it by county then Conwy would be good too,

A population of 60,000.

and nowhere near any of the current Gumtree city's listed.

Newport in South Wales needs a web page.
Millions of £'s are being spent there on housing etc. It's the UK's newest city.

Seriously though the amount of scammers on this site is a joke so it should definately remain 100% UK.

Derry is badly left out on gumtree, so is Co Donegal, you could consider putting both on seperate or combining them like Derry/Donegal as they are close to eachother, either way they need to be added when you consider the nearest city to either is belfast and thats 80 miles away.

lol nigeria, true though, im more pissed at the fact spammers are using gumtree, its a great site if not abused, you reply to an add & next thing you know your hit with a load of spam, if it was UK only that would leave out Ireland so I don't think thats a wise move, plus isn't Scotland and Wales independant countries? so technically it would exclude them also.
Gumtree should have someone working from home who sends an independant reply to advertisers and if they get spammed they should block adds from that users IP address in future, that would soon cure the problem for all good users all over the world.

I live in Andover and my nearest is Southampton, Bath and Reading.

Since you have Bath and Bristol why not have Newbury, Basingstoke or Salisbury

The nearest Gumtree to us is Plymouth and thats 80 miles away!!!

Internet adoption rates in Bracknell are one of the highest in the UK.

It has the right balance of people who want and need to sell goods and services using the Gumtree facility.

Great idea just a shame gumtree.com is so useless!! Check out the number of complaints and scam stories in feedback then advertise somewhere better perhaps????????
