scammer.............now to play,, ive asked him for more picts

Hi,

the bike is in great condition, it has been properly maintained, never been dropped or abused in any way. The price I'm selling it for is £3,000, which is including all the shipping charges.

I live in London but currently I am with work in Ireland for the next approximately 7 months. Anyway, there shouldn`t be any problem, because I`m using Gumtree(in collaboration with eBay) so I can sell the bike without difficulty.

I left the bike at their warehouse before leaving to the Ireland. They will take care of the delivery. There`s a 14-day return policy so you will have the chance to test, inspect and ride it before final decision.
So if you want to purchase it, drop me a line and I will explain you how Gumtree Policy works and how we can move
forward.

I am waiting your email.

Thanks

haha i just got the same message.
i will continue this game and see how he wants to proceed. i wrote back that i am still interested.

im pretty much into harleys and i do know what such a motorbike costs depending on its age and mileage and 3000 was SOOO suspicious that i had a closer look. and since i used to live in the US i've seen those housewalls and i immediately knew this one stinks

cheers

this is the answer i've got today

gumtree and ebay colaboration?? never heard of that. gumtree does transactions? LOOOL
seriously i am asking myself WHO is more stupid. the scamer or his victim. fucking nigerians with no brain probably.
gumtree should block every access comming from nigerian IP adresses!

**************************

Hi ,

the bike is stored Liverpool(at Gumtree official location).

If you want to purchase it, let me explain you how Gumtree Policy works and how we can proceed:
To start the official transaction, I need your full name and shipping address.

As soon as I receive your info, I will forward it to Gumtree, they will start the transaction and notify you with all the instructions (payment, shipping, my account status etc.) Please note that eBay will shipp the motorbike to your address. One of their agents will be assigned to handle the payment. You have to make the payment using the exact details they will provide you with and when the payment is complete, you have to send them the payment information, they will verify it and take care of the delivery. You will have a 14-day return policy, so you will have the chance to test and inspect the bike and decide either you keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, they have the power of attorney so they will register the bike into your name and release me the funds, if not they will be responsible for the return shipping and you will have a complete refund within 3 days.

Anyway, they will explain you detailed the entire process.

I am waiting your email.

Thanks.

I want to go and see the bike first before i make any payment. i will be in liverpool for a few days anyway. can i see the bike first?

************************************************

Yes, you can..but i the the best and cheap solution for you is to proceed with the transaction. The shipping cost is free and after the bike is delivered at your door you will havce so many days to see, test and inspect the bike.

If by the reason you don't like to keep the bike, the ccompany will give you money back in no more thant 24 hours.

Please note that you will not have to pay any extra costs or supply taxes!

What would be your final answer? Should i start the official transaction?

Thank you
