Hi,
I am launching a new media agency and need a good name as i will be franchising the business.
Can you come up with something imaginative?
Key words;
Design
Media
Creative
If someone can come up with a name that we would like to use we will give you £150... so get thinking people! |

hehe, I like your ad.. a bit more about the business though would help??
How about 'media-maginitive' or '(SkyHi)MediArt' or my favourite.. 'desIgNSPIRED' or 'DesIgN-genious (thats worth £150.50 )
hmm.. £150 would be rockin', but some inspiration for my community empowerment essay would also be good!!?

I'd go for the wordplay approach that blends together the keywords that underpins the business direction so that you invent a new word, like Accenture, as an historic example:-
Design
Media
Creative
For example,
Descredia
Dediative
Desmedative
Demecreate
Demetive
Cedia
Createdia
Crediave
Cresignia
Credia
Medesign
Medativ
My favourite ones are in bold. |

| I think something generic, and not including the words of the business may be more eye catching. Something like "HighQ Media" or "InUrFace Media Consultants" would leave you room to diversify your services as time goes on, especiall with the franchising option open to you in the future. |

Read Paulo Freire:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paulo_Freire
Pedagogy of the oppressed will educate you on the theory of empowerment. I would look for oppressive culture and find resistances to this culture - in schools this can be seen in children that exhibit subversive behaviour.
You must also look into yourself before you embark on this journey, as we give things a 'culture' based on our biographical profile - we render a culture through our own lense. The way we are positioned and how we position others is called reflexivity - it will be a key word in your essay on empowerment.
Remember we cannot empower people, they can only empower themselves! |
