What is slim!?

Hi,

Below is an advert from gumtree birmingham. I read it and was outraged at the persons concept of 'slim'. I am a size 10 and I actually regard myself as pretty slim. Whats yours?

We are looking for extras for some filming in and around Birmingham.

This IS paid work.

We are looking for:

Over 50's

Also people of ethnic origin

Which ever category you come under please ensure that you only apply if you are slim.

Women: NO BIGGER then a size UK 6
Men: NO BIGGER then 38" chest and 32" waist.

Please reply with a photo, name and a phone number.

for this woman to say that a size 8 is not slim is sick no wonder there are so many aneorexic people out there with ignorant people like tha out there

As I said i regard myself as pritty slim and i'm a 10!!!

I'm not 100% sure it was a woman that posted the ad.

A size 6 max is unhealthy!!!!!!

i just wonder: how many anorectic female over 50 yo will they find???
or was it just a joke???

though i occassionally see some articles in magazines such as closer! and women after dieting there. sometimes they clame a certain dress size, but i would say they underestimated that detail, they must be at least 2 sizes bigger!

To be fair, you don't know what the extra work is for. It may be about people who are starving, or living in concentration camps, or victims of a disease, or suffering from eating disorders, etc. It's stupid that they called it "slim" but not at all unusual if the extras are supposed to look like people who are starving
