[Hitmaker]

Hello,

I'm currently living in Scotland and I'm interested in moving to Nantes, France.
I met a couple of people from there recently who became my friends and they were keen to welcome me, give me help, look after me and so on.
Does anyone out there have any advice, tips or recommendations?!

I speak high school French - going there to learn it is my main aim - and I'm pretty outgoing. I'm looking at going by September or October and ideally I'd like to have a job waiting - maybe somebody on the forum knows somebody else there who would be keen to give a guy with rusty French a job?!

I don't know, it's a lot to ask but I'm not going to achieve anything by not trying....

I'm aware of things like TEFL. Maybe someone out there would recommend it as a course of action...? And yes, I'm aware that unemployment in Europe is massive and it's all going to hell...but there's always going to be problems like this that must be surmounted. That's why I'm here fishing for info!

This, by the way, is my first post on a Gumtree forum so I'm hoping it will be worth it.

If anyone wants to know more please reply and I'll give some more details, I'm not about to write a big exposition only never to receive a reply!
