| I informed my agent that I will be the only person living in my new flat, but my mum want to stay with me in london when I start staying in the flat. Is it necessary for me to inform the agent? I fear I can lose to flat because I faced a stiff competition before I got this flat. |

If your mother is going to be a temporary guest, then its no issue - she has no rights that would conflict with a tenancy agreement and you have the right to have guests.
If you want to share with your mother on a longer term basis then its a good idea to notify the agent - most tenancy agreements forbid the tenant from assigning the tenancy to other tenants and landlords expect to know who is living in the property. |
