Hi there,
I'm just wondering if anyone in the London/Hertfordshire area has had this jab recently at nomads or any other travel clinics & how much it cost?
I'm just shopping around as I need to have loads of jabs for Africa in jan but my docs can do most for free! |

As far as I know you can't get Yellow Fever vaccinations on the NHS, you have to pay for it.
I think when I paid for it abut 5 years ago it cost about £60 for the two injections (i may be wrong though).
The rabies jabs are far more expensive (and arguably unnessecary).
It does cover you for 10 years so when you look at it as a price for 10 years, it's not too bad. |

| Lookout and make sure you have some time off work.. my partner and i were so sick for two days after the injection... hot and cold sweats, vomiting and generally felt really ill..... I know not everyone reacts to the vaccine but about 70% of tour group in africa had bad side effects. |
