whats the point using gumtree if they are getting too greedy, team start to put more and more option to pay and now force peoples to pay! thought the business model was working with the google ads.
iwon't recommend this site anymore and will start looking for another option!

Excellent - one less whinging idiot to worry about then. Have fun finding another site like this, with NO Scammers at all................... Oh, sorry they do not exist. No matter website you join with the intention of advertising something or trying to buy something you will find that there is a scammer or scammers out there trying to rob you of your money.

To ensure your complete safety - may I suggest you just stick a postcard sized advert in your local supermarket notice board, that's also free as well and you do not have the risk of being scammed by someone on the internet !!!!!!

Bye Bye

you can get scammed there too, just not so many people see it so the proportions are smaller.

you still get people advertising their work form home plans send £25

send your £25 and you get told to place free ads saying work from home ask me how only £25 Very Happy

another two i knwo have happend to people around ne
girl in work was trying to sell a "genuwine" leather jacket her boy/f had bought from a guy in a lay by

variation on

Leather jacket salesman in distress: A well-spoken, well-dressed gentleman approaches you and explains that he's a leather jacket salesman, and he needs directions to drive to a nearby landmark. He chats you up ("Oh, really? My wife is from Omaha!") and gives you the feeling that you're now friends. When finished, he reaches in his car and pulls out a "designer leather jacket" he claims is worth hundreds of dollars, which he gives to you as a gift for your helpfulness. Oh, and by the way, his credit card isn't working, and could you please give him some cash to buy gas? He takes off with the cash, and you later realize that you've paid way too much for your new 100 percent vinyl jacket.

and this was in the local papers as being tried

The found ring: An innocent-looking person picks up a ring on the ground in front of you, and asks if you dropped it. When you say no, the person examines the ring more closely, then shows you a mark "proving" that it's pure gold. He offers to sell it to you for a good price — which is several times more than he paid for it before dropping it on the sidewalk.

ok back to the subject

why do you think they are to greedy?
how are they expected to pay their staff, website etc etc?
in what way has it changed?

who is forcing you? you have the same option as everyone else. ie go elsewhere.

what you thought the business model was, would seem to be wrong.

if you want answers, your initial query has to be clear
