I posted a question the other day asking why it was so simple to have other peoples adverts removed from the site, it received one not very helpful reply from Montyzuma........& now seems to have been removed from the site!

Was the question too difficult?.....eh???? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

C'mon Gumtree...How about some feedback from you?

Why can I delete other peoples adverts at the press of a button?....The ads disappear instantly in some cases, so obviously nobody is checking them first!! Rolling Eyes

Why was my original post deleted??

Why won't you respond to this post??

This is similar to emailing the 'help' desk I suppose........where nobody from Gumtree can provide an answer!

Doesn't seem to matter what the advert may be for.

Put it this way, If you advertise your car for £2000 & I have a similar car for sale at a similar price, I can simply have your ad removed at the press of a button, thus elimainating the 'competition'!

Its the only advertising site I'v come across where this can be done, I'm just interested to hear Gumtree's views on the situation but as you can see......they don't want to know!

I'v emailed their support bods 3 days ago too.......still awaiting a reply!

Well, 203 views so far for this thread & not a word from Gumtree despite Jonin60seconds & montyzuma having been on & posted in other threads!

Is ignoring the question really the answer guys? I'd bet my boots that both of you have read this, but its a poor show when you cannot come up with a proper response!

I see now why people on here get so pissed off. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
