|
Hi
I am moving to Cardiff and dont know much about the area. Can anyone recommend any nice areas to live? I want somewhere relatively safe with a friendly atmosphere!
Can anyone also tell me the schools to go for in Cardiff and the ones to avoid please?
Any other helpful tips about moving to Cardiff would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

The nothern suburbs Whitchurch, Llanishen, Rhiwbina are safe with good schools. Good facilities and transport but maybe not too lively.
If you are rich Roath Park has great schools and beautiful park.
What do you mean by lively?
Cardiff is geographically small so easy to get into the centre for a night out.
More lively residential areas (ie pubs and take aways) would be Roath and Cathays but these are dominated by students, litter and have fewer schools. |

Pontcanna gets my vote too, trouble is that it is seroiusly expensive.
Where did you move to in the end? |
