In my considered opinion a consultant is an expert or somebody who is highly qualified. This name should not apply to those in Recruitment. This is blatant telesales which often attracts individuals with little formal training or qualifications hence the limited criteria to become a sales agent is part of the widespread industry issues. Why would anyone who is qualified either academically or vocationally consider a career as a sales agent this one of the great frustrations to many candidates the dubious standards which allows these sales agents to offer their unique expertise! Furthermore the whole recruitment industry lacks any sort of transparency which i would be delighted to comment on should you wish.
