|
|
There is a person creating listings for Muse tickets for the o2 gigs on 12 and 13 November.
This individual will state that they live away from London somewhere, and will encourage you to either send full payment or 'deposit' for the tickets.
The tickets would then be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive the next day.
With the deposit scam the seller will ask you to pay 1/2 up front and the remainder when the tickets arrive.
The tickets will never arrive.
Having been in contact with a number of buyers who have been scammed by this person the matter has been reported to the Police.
The Police have stated that there is nothing they can do until the dates of the gigs passed. Once 13 or 14 November arrives they will then start to investigate the numerous crimes.
Victims of this crime should leave their experience here so that ALL matters can be reported to the Police at the same time.
The details used by 4 injured parties are as follows:
Sort Code: 11 08 74
Account: 00447322
Halifax
Mobile Number: 07538203113
It goes without saying that anyone wishing to buy Muse tickets should INSIST on the following:
1. That you ONLY deal IN PERSON with the seller and in CASH
2. NEVER deposit funds into a 3rd party bank account, western union, paypal etc
The sooner we get this matter reported the sooner this scumbag will be arrested, charged, and brought before a court. DO NOT let this person get away with it. |

Hello,
I've been conned for the same concert, with a very similar process. The ad was posted last week, I paid a deposit, never received the tickets and when I wrote today to ask whether they had been sent the email account doesn't exist anymore...
However the bank account details are different so I'm note sure I can help your case.
I thought of reporting this to the police too, but do I have to go to a police station? they probably have more important things to deal with, I feel a bit embarrassed...
Thanks |
