Hi Right Indian, Thanks for your reply.
Is there any way it can be sorted without a solicitor or that is the only available option?
Just wondering was your case different like free soul or you had applied for HSMP from univisas.
Please tell a little bit about your story so we can gather where we are standing. Thanks.
Hey Right Indian Thanks for your concerns but you think just in one straight line. Everybody has to think according to their own circumstances and make a judgement. Hope you understand and atleast help others without just giving the suggestion of the solicitor.

Apart from all that a very simple question was asked from you but no reply. Actually i find it very strange. I'm sure there shouldn't be any hesitation in just telling the others whether you applied under Tier 1 or the old HSMP system and if it was under the old scheme then did ur solicitor send the passport later for stamping? It's not a story but a simple question.

You never know if we all get some more information we might be motivated to give you a call to get in touch with your solicitor. THANKS ANYWAYS.

Everybody still waiting, please keep your hopes high and things will definitely turn out good and pray for everyone here!

Don't worry Paperless. God is indeed the biggest judge and solicitor of all.
I cannot afford a solicitor and i am sure alot of others waiting with us might be in a similar situation. I know we still need to wait and when the right time comes, it will happen and i am sure sure he will give us a reward for all this patience. What we have to do now is wait and be very patient.

All the people waiting apart from praying yourself ask your mothers to pray for you aswell as they say Mum's prayers can turn around fates. Goodluck to all!

I agree with keen2know, Right.Indian can you please provide a proper response, I know you may not feel comfortable providing your personal information in an open forum but at least provide us some information which can help us understand where do we stand.

I myself am going to apply for Tier 1 extension in 2-3 weeks, my initial application was done by Univisas and was all approved and luckily my case was approved a nd documents returned; just before univsas were raided, Now it's time for an extension and I have no idea how HO is going to deal with my application.

Just an FYI, I provided all original and genuine documents to univisas and the documents I am going to use this time for Tier 1 application are all genuine and truly verifiable. The only concern is that I have no idea what documents Univisas *USED* when they applied on my behalf, I hope they didn't do any fake business in my case.

Hi Smart_Guy,
Nothing to worry about extension...as far as all your current documents are genuine ... and satisfy the points
I did my extension recently and got approved in 6 weeks time....so be confident and apply

Thanks mitravi2005, I hope you are true. Yes I am confident that my docs are genuine and verifiable. By the way I am going for premium one day application service as my wife needs to travel back to India for her extension on spouse basis. So its not a standard postal application.

I can't think of any problems in my case but I am willing to hear your opinions. Anyone who has applied for an extension recently where previous application were done by Univisas PLEASEshare your experience.

Hey guys,

My solicitor got a letter from HO saying that decision will be made shortly, but I do not know how long that shortly is meant to be for. Hoping it will be a positiive one. Don't know why they are still taking so long to come up with a decision. Has anyone received any letter similar to mine?

Hi Univ, does your solicitor think that they will come up with a decision in this year?

My solicitor frankly has no idea and was telling me that HO is very very very slow in these matters but as soon as I hear something will post it. Any news from your side?
