if you are looking for dogs for sale through gumtree, beware! if you see an ad for puppies for sale in aberdeen and when you email the seller and talk with them on the phone, do not fall for it as i have just been scammed out of £155 this morning. they tell you they will ship the puppy from england but you have to pay a courier for fees. i did this and then the so called courier company basically demanded a further £1000 pounds from me , sayin the puppies insurance papers had ran out and i must pay this fee before my puppy could be delivered to me. They try to get you to pay through western union. i was scammed because the so called seller led me to believe he was a reverend pastor just wanting a good home for his bull dog puppy.. This was all lies. please dont make the same mistake as i did. be very cautious when buying dogs through this site. Turns out it was all just a scam , the dogs dont even exsist, even though i was fulled by lots of photos of supposed dog. I never recieved a dog. these people are just after your money!

Hi Lynnie, sorry to hear about this. It is a real shame that some bad guys take advantage of people wanting to get a puppy. Always remember to trade face to face on Gumtree its the only way to guarantee you won't be duped. Anyone who doesn't want to meet is a scammer.

I actually got a pedigree labrador through Gumtree two weeks ago and the transaction went really smoothly.
