i would like to warn all sellers to be aware of some people out there i have had a woman "claiming"to be from Austrailia trying to buy my wedding dress i was adverting for her daughters upcoming wedding
i hear you all saying thats nice whats wrong with that ?
please read on i gave her the price and postage price to Australia then she told me a cheque would be sent to me to for the value of £2800 from her "client" in london (the dress and postage was only £247)i was to take my payment then hold the rest of the money for her till she got a flight for her daughter to australia with a travel agent i think i was then to pay the travel agent with the cash i was holing for her when i replied back and said i wasnt too keen in doing that i havent heard back from her despite numerous emails to her dodgy i think you make up your own mind beware

IT IS A SCAM.

Under no circumstances have anything to do with this type of fraud, they rely on a fault in the UK banking system, the cheque pays into your account and appears to clear and shows a credit, you naturally assume the money has gon in your account and hand over the extra cash......... what happens then is the cheque finally reaches the issuing bank and is bounced as no account or money exists, your bank then recovers the funds straight back out of your account as they do not exist leaving you in megga debt..............
