I am planning my first trip to New York for the end of May. Does anyone know of any good hostels or budget hotels that I can check out? Also, the people at Flight Centre suggested I do another city in the states... what do people think of Boston? Philly? Chicago? Washington? |

| Thank you for the reply. Have just tried to check out your website and I can't seem to find it - the link doesn't work. |

| Hey, I live in Philly so, naturally, I think you should visit. A great way to travel to any of the cities you mentioned is the Chinatown bus. I often take it to New York...it is fast and really cheap -- 20.00 american or roughly 10.00 GBP roundtrip NY to Philly and only a bit more to Boston or DC. There are many companies that run these busses -- my favorite is New Century Travel: www.2000coach.com. Hope you enjoy your trip! |

love the place.
there is a cheap decent hostel just off times square think its banana hostels.com or something.but you can find a hostel easy.
make sure you get the discount ticket book from the first major tourist site you visit.i'd recommend a bus tour round manhattan island and a visit to the suburbs like hobaken |

New York rocks! Stay at the Big Apple Hostel around the corner from Times Square.. great location and a decent hostel. See everything in New York, it's amazing, but if you have the time, visit Washington, Chicago, Nigara Falls (Cananda side) as these places aren't too far away.
Enjoy... |
