Hiya i received this e-mail from mrtnkrz@aol.com
and i am not sure, how can they scam me off? If they don't know who i send money to??

Please someone help because i dont this maybe its real maybe its not but i am not taking £1000 pound chances thats how many phones i need

1. generally anyone asking for payment via western union is a scammer, but ive never heard of anyone asking for the payment to be sent to a 3rd party.

2. why do you need so many phones? if you legitimately need that many phones go buy them from a reputable wholesaler.

You must always be wary of internet scams when sending goods or money.

If you take a look at the FAQ's section on the Homepage, we do not advise ever sending goods or money at any stage. As a local community site, Gumtree promotes local, face to face transactions.
