I have notice recently Nigerians are using GUMTREE to deceive vendors.
I was approached by a person with Names James Robinson, registered at yahoo.Uk and requested me to send my camera to his nephew Yousuf Ashaye in Nigeria. He also used a conurtfit web site as ":Braclays wire service to send them the tracking nos so that they can send me the money later on.
Barclays Uk, confirmed that the barclays wire service is a counterfeit.
I have sent the information to Nigerian Police but has not heard anything yet.

Thanks for reporting this. It's a known scam, don't reply.
Emails from Gumtree always come from @gumtree.com, and we never ask you for money like this. |
