| Why the hell are they on the gumtree? What happened to regular people putting up ads for rooms to rent? Now they've taken over this site and it's SHIT! I think the boys at Gumtree need to sort this out and go back to the way it was before. If you want to go through an agent go around the corner/up the street/next door they are EVERYWHERE. They DO NOT need to be on this website cause it's confusing the fuck out of me. |

Hi there,
We make all estate agents identify themselves in the listings with an AGY next to their ad so you can choose to ignore them if need be - if they don't identify themselves, please report them to us.

| I am also fed up with all these agencies, gumtree used to be free from them some time ago and suddenly they bugged the website like a disease. They have thousand other spaces to infest. I am also talking about job section. How perfect it would be if the recruiters themselves put their vacancies on gumtree and if they request agency's help then the agency uses some other resoources. Gumtree should be strictly for direct communication between interested two parties not for mediators. |
