I've had a bad luck streak of 7 girls in the past 3 years, met every single one of them in clubs/pubs.
Getting pissed and hooking up is so easy but i think i need to try something different!
How do you meet nice decent girls without being invasive to there personal space in public ???? any advise?? |

I'd love to know the answer to this as well. The advent of iPods has made it much harder to start conversations on the train etc (not that I ever could anyway!) although last night 3 Geordie girls started chatting to me at Clapham Junction station on the way home after the game. Stupidly I had to run off for the last train though and didn't / couldn't get a number, despite us all blatantly having one thing in common. Grrrr.... |

| I think the problem is that london can seem quite anti social, people tend not to talk to to strangers unless there grannies in need of crossing the road or helping tourists with directions(sometimes) so stricking up a conversation with a stranger of the opposite sex is something you do at your peril!! |

One great thing to do to chat up girls, I have found....is in a supermarket, pick up some lamb mince when a nice looking lass (who hopefully is shopping for herself and not her BF or husband !!!) and ask her for her opinion if cottage pie would be just as good made from lamb as opposed to beef mince ? smile, talk about it and get in there....it also shows you like to cook too.....I have done it once a while ago (although I really do like cooking) and it worked....
Oh yes and don't ask her how she likes her eggs..... |

meeting someone of the opposite sex through night clubs if perhaps a little faster than become friends first through a common interest in cooking lamb. guess you have to be open-minded to meeting people in different situations and not being knocked back by cold shouldered city life. easier said than done. |

| Meeting women is easy... the thing people find hard is sustaining a relationship. If you meet girls in a club you have no idea what they're looking for. if you want a serious relationship go to where that is on the agenda ie a proper dating site |
