It would be nice if the administrators of this site could put some sort of java
script in that would require members who posted an ad to re-new there ads
every 2 weeks or so ,just like they do on Melbourne Exchange.com.au

,someone here on gumtree posted a TV for sale 10 months ago, and when I
asked him has he still got it , he said he sold it 9 months ago.

That's really odd. Normally ads don't appear on Gumtree for more than 120 days tops, and you can see when they were last posted on the listings page and the ad itself.

Do you have the reference number of the old ad or a link to it so we can check?
