What other companies have you done?
We are not starting out at all. Been around for over 20 years. We are international but are trying to advertise more in the U.K, since recently buying out a top brand. |

Look. I ll give you a hand.
If youre looking for commision and to make the money...dont come onto here...if you have to use spell check first. Youre in advertissing...present yourself.
Anyway...how many directors or CEO's will be coming onto the gumtree?
The one's that are on here are small money. Look around on some of the other sites, trawl a bit.
You probably think I am taking the piss, I am not. Trust me. Been in this for a long time and so has the family.
Would you like help? |

Half a mill? Thats still very minor leagues!
But a good effort.
Tim....I suppose it's a good start on the chat rooms...but is it an idea that could be taken?
Maybe set up a website, for free, and then advertise on these chat rooms?
Most you arent allowed to advertise or promote, but it would depend on the idea. |

You don't state what the idea is.....
Have you given any consideration as to whether you need to protect yourself from it being snatched and used by others.....if it's the kind of idea you can snatch and use......oh I know what I mean!!!
I've had work snatched from the web before and it's a pain in the arse trying to prove it's yours!!!
Now this is where you say none of that applies to your idea and I go off and sulk in the corner for getting meself all confused!! |

Hi,
Very interesting post. And very interesting responses. I work for an international marketing company and i often frequent this site for new contacts etc. My advice to get your idea/concept out there is a well constructed e-blast. generally if you send an email to 10,000 people 3,000+ will open it, 1,800 will read it ect. these are large drops but if you buy the data from the right places you can quite easily get the desired results. if your only looking for awareness this is always a good idea. Although most people cant stand spam... which I agree this sort of is... its so popular because it works.
Working for a large company our lists are generally opt in (not spam) but you can simply buy addresses and the software online. if you would like information or have an idea going in a nother direction (non eblasts) let us know and i'm sure you can be enlightened. |

| How about using some of the social networking sites that are popping up all over the place? Get people to buy into your idea and promote it for you... It's got to be better than spamming up people's inboxes? |

| Unfortunately nowadays, no matter where you post something like that it would be considered spam. |
