Hi all,
I am wondering what you look for when you read posts in the computer services section for Web Design.
Please let me know, and try and be as specific as possible!
Thanks,

I look at their website and go straight to their portfolio.
Pricing is also very important.
In the end I ended up going with a friend on developing my website.

In my opinion anyone can build a website; I would only work with someone who has:
a) a well designed, attractive and varied on-line portfolio
b) understands the importance of SEO and internet marketing
c) someone who can build relationships and account manage
In addition the company I work for have learnt the hard way about maintenance and back-up, and so that might be worth promoting? Hope this helps... |

I know people who are illiterate morons, but can build from scratch the most outstanding websites you can imagine while maintaining a high level of security using a number of programming languages. Failed every subject in school except for math, which was just plain easy.
Sorry, it's probably not the info your looking for but...
the proof is in the pudding, not your qualifications. |
