I'm keen to go to Spain at the end of April till approx mid May.

Question 1: should I rather go to Spain at the end of May? Is the weather better at the end of May?

Question 2: Am thinking of going to Barcelona and Mallorca. Anyone got suggestions of other must-see's?

Question 3: I plan to stay at youth hostels. Any info on the youth hostels? Any recommendations?

It all depends what you look for when you are on holidays. i am from the north of Spain, so i would suggest to head to San Sebastian because although the weather might not be as hot as the south, the view is amazing, beautiful beaches with green landscapes and nice mountains to enjoy walking trips. the food is excellent as well.

Barcelona is a great city. there are lots of hostels, most of them are clean, not too expensive, around 19E for a dorm, but some of them are noise because there are in the area of the pubs and restaurants.. and you know how late we spanish people like to hang out in the nights!!

In july I suggest to visit Pamplona, for the festivals, that is a must see!! 6th july till the 13th.
