| Thank you so much for all the info, it really helped. Now I just want to know where it would be easier for me to find a live-in job. Is it really hard to find a live-in in Edinburgh? Should rather consider going to Bath/Bristol ? Thanks a lot again! |

| Hey Sheila - i think you should just keep your comments to yourself. If there are enough Australians in the UK then maybe you should leave if you dont like it! I think an opinion like that should definitely be kept to yourself!! Nobody else wants to hear you complaining!! All the poor person is trying to do is find out information! |

hey guy's,
Before I came to the UK i hadn't even worked in a pub before, but have found it seems to be the way to go if you want to live in a few different placesin the UK. There are alot of live in pub jobs available (you can see loads on the gumtree) which is an option that I have taken most of the time I've been here.
In the summer there's allways loads of live in work up in the scottish highlands if thats thre kind of thing you like.... Or above a pub in london....
Basically. I suppose you get a roof over your head, and a wage as soon as you arrive..... and a chance to check out the lay of the land.... if you don't like the place your in..... you can leave and you haven't paid all sorts of bond on a flat.
so if your not sure where it is you wanna be, give that a go. There are agencys if you google live in pub work uk, but i allways find the gumtree invaluable!
good luck |

If you opt for this there is not much in the local area to give you much choice. |
